This includes strategic planning, capital allocation, M&A, shareholder engagement, financial forecasting and long-term planning in the pursuit of sustainable growth that compounds value over time.Jon has extensive energy and finance experience, including having spent nearly 15 years working in the capital markets industry, including more than a decade with CIBC Capital Markets where he was responsible for leading the firm’s institutional equity research coverage on the Canadian Large-cap E&P, Integrateds, Oilfield Services and Macro Oil sectors. He also provided guidance on the energy sector across CIBC’s Equities, Fixed Income, Economics, Commodities, Macro Strategy and Government Relations functions.As an Energy Analyst Jon was top ranked in his field according to Brendan Wood International, Greenwich Associates and Thompson Reuters. Jon was born and raised in Alberta but has worked globally, including servicing clients across North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. Jon was previously based in London, U.K., where he was responsible for growing CIBC's Capital Markets platform within the U.K. and Europe.
