I'm Jon,A native Geordie, F1 fanatic, Dad to my daughter Willow and for the past 19 years I have worked on some of the UK's most important business development projects. Simply put, I get hired to be a brain not the limbs. Well not anymore anyway...My Journey started when I bagged a job selling DVDs and popcorn from my local Video rental shop.I then applied for a Jr sales role selling advertising space in a magazine.Ever seen Glen Gary Glen Ross? - Work felt very similar!I was given a very small cupboard to work from with a chair, dial up phone which crackled when it rang, and a phone book.Computers where something I would get after 6 months if I didn't quit.I had to earn the respect and reputation from my managers to be able to leave the cupboard and join the others on the call floor.
