I have spent over 15 years in advisory and leadership roles in Health and Safety processes, strategy and culture change. I cut my teeth so to speak in Postal services and more recently in the manufacturing and mechanical service industries.My experience and growth in Health and Safety began as a front line leader managing Posties with NZ Post. I then specialized in National Postal Delivery Safety and leadership development. In my time with NZ Post I gained experience with ACC and the partnership program, process development and implementation, training, coaching and the formation, development and leadership of a Safety and Training team for the Delivery business.Prior to my role with Countdown I spent close to ten years leading Health, Safety, Well-being and Environmental management at McAlpine Hussmann Ltd. This was a new role in the New Zealand business to develop overall H&S strategy and drive cultural change within the organisation. I rejoined McAlpine in 2021 where I have instigated significant chages to our KPIs, acheived ISO45001 and developed an all in one Safety HUB to streamline access to reporting, tools and real time data. I have recently been promoted to an Australasia role.
