About Jon Nolting

I'm still in awe of the current z System h/w and s/w stack moving to Oracle to help manage their z/OS, DB2, z/VM and Linux infrastructure going back to my roots as a sysprog. System z platform evangelist. I still love this platform as it continues to befuddle the experts in the industry by being even more compeling today that it has ever been.While I love being a vendor with IBM, I would really love to get back into the technical "bits and bytes" of System z software on z/OS and/or z/VM. I would love to continue mentoring new technicians on the beauty of the IBM mainframe.Specialties: z/OS OS and subsystems including DB2. z/VM. REXX programming on both platforms including a near master plumber with pipelines.
