I spent 3.5 months as part of the start up company, XMR.I provided ex-military personnel for the telecommunications industry.Both permanent and contract roles.I left this role to return to working within mainstream defense and telecommunications sectors.

Travel to developed and developing countries within the EMEA regions to facilitate the following tasks: Collaborate with internal sales staff, region partners, and Marketing and Communications to penetrate the African market and establish the Codan brand in the region.Identify opportunities for HF products in the security and military markets.Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations and field trials and support or manage Trade Show activities to demonstrate security, military and commercial HF products performance and functionality to create demand.Provide input to product development based on identified existing and emerging customer needs, and identified critical pre and post-sales issues.Provide technical customer service for the region, investigate and drive the resolution of product problems, customer complaints or post-sales issues as they arise.Manage customer inquiries and technical requests, liaising with CODAN Sales and Product Managers.Define the best critical path or plan for each customer request i.e. system design, demonstrations, RFI’s, RFP’s, etc.Technical leadership and supervision of complex sales opportunities and high level interoperability demos.Develop high level training materials, as required, to conduct training to the end users.

Provided 1st line technical support on the HARRIS portfolio of products.System and network design incorporating HARRIS and other vendors products.Training on HARRIS products.Global sales support to demonstrations and field trials.

Established communications links covering the whole frequency spectrum.Engineered said links to maintain both Strategic and Tactical voice and data networks.Provided Electronic Warfare capabilities.Provided instruction on the use of different vendors hardware and software applications.Maintained a cryptographic account and several stores accounts.
