Throughout my professional career, I have held progressively more responsible positions as a public affairs and human resources professional within the post-secondary education sector. I have supplemented this experience in a number of volunteer roles as well as previously owning and operating a successful small business.I have the unique experience of working in the field of public affairs in a number of different roles including as the head of a provincial industry association, as a two-time municipal candidate, campaign manager, political party executive member, riding association president and currently as full-time professor within the School of Legal and Public Administration. My expertise includes board governance, government funding proposals, human resource management and strategic planning. In addition, I also have extensive knowledge of post-secondary education frameworks and provincial and federal education policy.
