As an adept Carpenter/Masonry Supervisor, I have a well-rounded background in construction and refined talents in managing subordinates for the past 20 years to achieve their full potential, which make me an ideal fit for some positions. Additionally, I am a proven expert in critical thinking skills and a consistent collaborator. My 20+ years in the Armed Forces have strengthened my abilities in interpersonal communication and customer service, as well as my focused attention to detail and high accuracy of success. I joined the military right out of high school, 2001 I enlisted in the Air Force as an Aerospace Ground Equipment mechanic for 8 years active duty. I did 3 tours overseas for OEF/OIF (Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom). I separated from the Air Force in 2009 to pursue a career as a Fire Fighter in the AF Reserves. Due to disabilities, I was unable to do so for the government, so I joined the Fire Academy on the civilian side and became a volunteer Fire Fighter. I still wanted to serve my country, so I enlisted in the Army Reserves as a Surgical Technician attached to a Combat Support Hospital and I was a Surgical Tech for 9 years. I was NCOIC of Surgery and Supervisor of 15 Operating room personnel. I have always had a passion for building and construction. As side work I have done my own home remodels and finish work as well as for others interested in my talents, so I changed my career path in the Army to Engineering in 2016. I am now a Carpenter/Mason and because of my rank I am in charge of vertical operations of 27 soldiers. I have 20+ years of service and intend to retire when they let me.I was hired with Lennar as a Construction Manager in 2021 and within the first 3 months I was construction manager of the quarter. After 2 1/2 years as a Superintendent I changed careers again, and became a fully Certified Residential Combination Inspector with ARCXIS in the first four months of employment.
