My role is to lead the Australia & NZ business strategy and all commercial activities and the associated regional team and P&L. The business currently operates seven popular STV channels, including BBC First, BBC UKTV and BBC Earth, a major content distribution business that distributes BBC content as well as BBC TV format licensing & production as original local series. The role also encompasses the commissioning and financing of new TV series for our channels such as Jane Campion's "Top of The Lake" and Jimmy McGovern's "Banished", commercialisation of the BBC brands in consumer product merchandise, interactive media and live events, as well as managing the sale of TV content through SVOD, DTO and physical DVD.
