I am a third-year student majoring in Accountancy at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University and minoring in Computer Science.A unique advantage I bring to the table is being able to combine my technical knowledge in Accounting and Computer Science with the soft skills of public speaking, communication, and relating to an audience. I use my technical knowledge to solve problems and the soft skills to work well in a team and report my findings to management and clients. This was demonstrated in my job as a Quality Inspector where I used computers and precise instruments to test defective parts with tight tolerances, analyze the data I collected to find patterns and spikes in the rate of defective parts, and report these findings to my supervisor in order to correct the problem.I am currently looking for internship opportunities in Accounting and Computer Science for Summer 2019.
