• Develop and implement outreach and engagement programming for the Detroit Tigers, built around youth education, health, and wellness, with an emphasis on engaging underrepresented audiences • Manage the charitable donation process for the Tigers organization in support of hundreds of local nonprofit fundraisers annually, including the processing of thousands of donated items and fulfillment of experiential packages (meet & greets, batting practice viewings, on-field experiences, private tours, etc.)• Develop the strategic plan and oversee annual distribution of 133,000+ complimentary Detroit Tigers game tickets to hundreds of nonprofit organizations through the MLB Commissioner’s Community Initiative and Detroit Tigers Foundation ticket programs, focusing on youth in Wayne County• Manage and execute impact-focused MLB-sanctioned and Detroit Tigers-supported themed games and events, including Jackie Robinson Day, Cancer Awareness days, Lou Gehrig Day, Military and First Responder Recognition days, Negro Leagues Weekend, Roberto Clemente Day, and volunteer activities• Work with local and national cultural and advocacy organizations to identify, recognize and support the work of local leaders making an impact in the following areas: Black History, Women’s History, Arab American Heritage, AAPI Heritage, LGBTQ+ Pride, Disability Pride, and Hispanic & Latino Heritage• Develop and maintain relationships with Major League Baseball and member clubs and with external partners including NGOs, school districts, corporate partners, civic leaders, etc. while serving as a liaison between Ilitch Sports + Entertainment and community partners in the Metropolitan Detroit area

• Developed and oversaw several Youth Enrichment offerings in the areas of reading, science, financial literacy, leadership and professional development, reaching more than 10,000 youth annually• Worked closely with Development team to identify, secure and execute on grants and key strategic partnerships with local and national partners, helping secure more than $1 million annually• Facilitated positive, enriching interactions between Detroit Police officers, youth participants and their families, through the coordination of unique events and programming• Acted as a mentor for youth by exemplifying transferrable life skills through the GREAT Model, including Goal Setting, Resiliency, Embracing a Healthy Lifestyle, Accountability and Teamwork• Actively recruited and supported nearly 2,000 volunteers, coaches and mentors each year, including acting as a volunteer coach for various sports programs• Assisted in the promotion and securing of special events to the Corner Ballpark’s Banquet Facility and Willie Horton Field of Dreams stadium space

• Lead the 50/50 Raffle Program, managing 25 raffle staff members, coordinating with raffle beneficiaries and volunteers, generating nearly $545,000 in 2019-20• Managed the Foundation/Community social media channels, developing strategy and calendars, providing value to corporate partners and highlighting Community Assist Grant recipients• Assisted in the Foundation’s fundraising efforts and annual Giving Campaign’s grant recipient selection process, which committed more than $1.3 million to 53 non-profits in 2019-20• Curated the Foundation’s website, monthly newsletters & e-blasts and produced the Community Annual Reports and Sharks Community’s recap videos, providing nearly 16,000 supporters a closer look at community initiatives across the Sharks organization• Coordinated with corporate partners and presenting partners to execute community activation events with grant recipients and high performing non-profits• Organized Stick to Fitness in 2019-20, the Foundation’s interactive street hockey program that taught more than 1,000 middle school students about healthy living and street hockey at school assemblies

• Coordinated 25 interns to execute a Major League level event in the 37th Annual Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game at Comerica Park• Organized the Foundation Ticket Donation Program which donated 50,000 Detroit Tigers tickets to more than 500 youth-focused non-profit organizations• Contributed to the generation of more than $220,000 at the 10th Annual Keeping Kids In the Game Benefit by assisting vendors, escorting players and VIPs and overseeing a 94-item Silent Auction• Lead 50/50 Raffles by regularly training 20-30 volunteers, supervising 10 Event Staff members and servicing Raffle selling devices en route to generating more than $20,000 per raffle• Assisted in the coordination and execution of the 2019 Tigers Winter Caravan West Bus with the Advance Security team to locations including Meijer Headquarters and the GM Flint Assembly Plant

• Hosted coaches, players and recruits and their families throughout game days by accompanying them and answering the questions of recruits and VIPs at Schembechler Hall and Michigan Stadium• Spent time during the week planning for future events, responding to and sending various pieces of mail, organizing the office space and working on special projects for various staff members• Helped execute off-season special events such as the Michigan Football Alumni Networking Dinner, the annual Coaches Clinic, spring practice and spring and summer camps

• Interacted closely with incoming Kinesiology students and staff members with advising needs encompassing helping with class choices, managing a schedule and choosing majors and minors• Displayed a diverse understanding of the university in answering important questions about campus life, extracurricular activities and networking at Michigan• Lead incoming students on tours around campus with expert knowledge of School of Kinesiology buildings, faculty and interesting facts

• Trained and supervised volunteers for 50/50 Raffles, which consisted of selling tickets, gathering, counting and logging of raffle proceeds and then breakdown and storage of equipment at the conclusion of events• Worked in a variety of unique and fast-paced situations such as in-school visits with players, community clinics put on by the coaching staff and fundraising benefits with players and staff• Participated in the execution of a number of the Foundation’s marquee events including the Keeping Kids in the Game Benefit, the Detroit Tigers Leadoff Party Auction and TigerFest

• Planned, prepared for and executed four different retreats for over 250 undergraduates throughout the school year, through hosting panel discussions, creating a schedule and securing speakers and venues• Facilitated and catered to students’ needs and interests post-retreat, arranging dialogue sessions, additional talks from speakers and social gatherings• Worked in tandem with eleven other undergraduate interns to promote an atmosphere of understanding and inclusion at the parish and in the greater-campus community

• Implemented techniques learned in a professional selling course to help sell season tickets, group passes, youth packages, team merchandise and concessions• Gained a better understanding of what it takes to host VIP and general guests, including taking food and merchandise orders, working security detail, assisting in Kid’s Club activities and answering questions about the team and the Great Lakes Conference of the National Premier Soccer League• Mastered the event management techniques necessary to set-up and break-down the home stadium before 10+ home matches throughout the summer
