I work with international bands, creating virtual orchestrations for world-class producers such as Jens Bogren, Tue Madsen, and Brett Caldas-Lima, both at home and abroad. Collaborators include Amorphis, Moonspell, Hatesphere and many more that can be heard in the showreels and portfolio below. This work requires me to make use of my skills in composition, orchestration, arrangement, production and songwriting, as well as my knowledge of performing metal music on guitar, bass, voice, and drums. To create my virtual orchestrations, I write the orchestral parts using guitar and keyboard midi input, playing industry standard virtual instruments in Logic Pro X. To add nuance and detail to virtual performances, I shape the sound with the Livid Guitar Wing and Sensel Morph controllers. I then collaborate with either the band and/or the producer to establish the final version via a process of constructive draft evaluation, before delivering the finished orchestration to the producer so that it can be worked into their mix for the song.

More recently, a drumline composition of mine was used by Carhartt in one of their advertisements.A large selection of my productions for Alibi can be heard here: www.orchestralmetal.com/production

Through my dedication and involvement at the academy, it transformed from weekend workshops to eventually include summer-schools and after-school sessions. As well as teaching guitar, bass, and drums to the students, I prepared accessible, tailored and accurate learning resources to meet the skill level and age range of the children. The experience of working at Supastars Academy enhanced my organisation and time management skills, as well as strengthening my ability to be patient and to teach in a dynamic way which reacts and adapts to the progress of the pupil during the lesson.
