A career timeline built from the work history available for this profile.
Senior Process Engineer
CurrentMy first role at AGC Bio as a Senior Process Engineer is focused on CIP systems, clean and dirty utility systems, facility systems, wastewater systems and general process equipment systems at a mammalian biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. My responsibilities range from executing capital engineering projects, managing new and current assets, providing subject matter expertise as needed for troubleshooting, owning and closing change records, deviations and CAPAs, and inputting to site utility, facility and wastewater master planning.
Senior Technology Leader
In this role I was tasked with leading the design and install of a first of its kind, mushroom leather manufacturing facility’s utility plant, raw material unloading, storage and transfer system, substrate making process system and substrate tray filling process system. This plant scaled up the company’s throughput 40 fold.
Technical Engineer
July 21’ marked my official transition to the HDW Engineering Team at Tabler Station. In conjunction with leading the execution of the business initiative from my previous role to a successful startup, I was responsible for capacity and cost savings projects, initiatives, and platform improvement projects for the Making Engineering Department.
Technical Engineer
My second role at Procter & Gamble landed me back at Tabler Station in the Chemicals Plant working on a utility design project, plant wastewater segregation and treatment projects and a raw material unload, storage and supply systems project. I continued to be accountable to cost, schedule, delivery and start up of these projects.
Aspiring Renaissance Man
As an aspiring renaissance man I turn some of my free time hobbies into ever evolving side hustles through advancing my knowledge base and understanding from books, journal articles and new experiences alike and applying them to simple small business principles.
Technical Engineer
During my first role at P&G I was accountable for cost, schedule, delivery and start-up of a breakthrough, fully modular utility plant at the Tabler Station manufacturing facility. We delivered the system with excellence and hit our stretch goal cost and schedule targets.
Graduate Research Assistant
My research involved wastewater remediation via photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants employing the sun as an energy source and titanium dioxide as the semiconductor material. I synthesized materials such as: mono- and bimetallic nanoparticles with engineered optical properties, Y-Al oxides doped with erbium and ytterbium, and TiO2 doped with erbium and ytterbium, all of which used different synthesis techniques which previously were not used in our lab. To advance how these materials were studied and to bring industrial relevance to experimental results I designed, fabricated and performed experiments in a recirculating bench scale reactor using high-powered LEDs. My work resulted in a published thesis and two peer reviewed journal articles in Applied Catalysis B: Environmental and Chemical Engineering Journal.
Community Service Officer
As the community service officer, I organized and conducted over 30 volunteering events ranging from: tutoring of local under privilege children, meet the scientist at MOSI, and engineering EXPO at USF. These events totaled over 100 hours of community service and helped 23 USF students fulfill their required volunteer hours to become Tau Beta Pi members.
Sales Clerk
As a sales clerk in the Men's department I routinely assisted customers in selecting correct sizes, locating the best sales prices, and measured adults and youths for suits and other dress clothes. The responsibilities were coupled with maintaining a well organized department and manning a register during times of high customer volumes at the check-out section of the store. This full-time job was held while taking a full time course load at St. Petersburg College in which I maintained a 4.0 GPA. During my time at Burlington Coat Factory I was named employee of the month the first full month I was employed. I left this position due to transferring to USF and striving to secure a position as a research assistant.
Motor Vehicle Operator
I graduated top of my class in military occupational school and received a meritorious promotion. The majority of my time serving was spent at Marine Corps Air Station, Iwakuni, JP with one deployment to Tindal Royal Airforce Base in Australia. My highest rank was corporal in which I was tasked with managing 20+ marines and inspecting/maintaining multi-million dollars worth of motor vehicles and equipment as well as received training in: handling hazardous materials, responding to chemical warfare, suicide prevention, personal financing, and military etiquette .
