Working both pool side and around the leisure centre, I was responsible for ensuring the safety of the swimmers and have entered the pool to rescue a drowning swimmer. Pool side duties also include setting up for swimming clubs, regulated play sessions and carrying out pool tests to ensure the quality of the water.
