My track record in the public sector is outlined in detail in the CV below. In particular I draw your attention to my Board roles with the Homes England and as Chair of the Housing Diversity Network. My leadership and influencing roles have supported these organisations to transform and develop.Significantly these roles have been focussed on giving advice, scrutinising performance, leading on future strategy and encouraging and making the most of cross-sector working. I am delighted that these organisations are in a stronger position now than when I joined their Boards.I am aware of the current economic and social challenges and I have successfully used sound judgement and risk management when operating in these non-executive roles. My professional experiences have focussed on a detailed understanding of discrimination law, human resources, scrutiny and service improvement.I have a passion for fairness, honesty and transparency and this has underpinned the major projects that I have influenced and delivered in my professional and executive roles, in particular as a Trustee of Leonard Cheshire Disability. I am fully aware of imperatives around delivering value for money and efficiencies whilst achieving social justice.
