Raised by his father Norman Rantala, born in Fort Bragg California. A trained navy aviation mechanic, and a retired mill worker. My father, Mike Rantala born and raised in Fort Bragg California began specializing in plumbing and water treatment in the early 90’s.Growing up in Fort Bragg, I learning the trades in a family of service men, and craftsman. Like my father I have been trained hands on since my earliest memories. Learning the industry inside out, and from the bottom up. Starting at digging trenches, too laying pipe, sweating copper, repairing leaks, replacing plumbing fixtures, installing water storage tanks, replacing well pumps, wiring pump controls, installing filtration systems, tankless water heaters, combination boilers, hydronic heating systems, solar backup pump systems, and much more. Through the foundational education of my childhood, working with my father in the family business. I gained the confidence to go off independently to train hands on with some of the best plumbers, electricians, and carpenters in Northern California I could learn from. Learning techniques that my mentors have used to approach their business practice with, and being a kinesthetic leaner I am continuously striving for higher levels of customer service, accuracy, precision, and aesthetically pleasing installations. Mastering new aspects of my craft will be a lifelong effort, no matter the goal.
