I have had the privilege of serving for over 24 years in daily operations of homeless ministries. I have over 20 of those years as Executive Director or Acting E.D. For over 20 years I have served as the Executive Director of the Union Gospel Mission (now Chattanooga Outreach d/b/a Union Gospel Mission). A few years ago we took The Union Gospel Mission to it's independent 501c3 corporate status (it had been run for 58 years as a ministry of a local church, the church had decided to move in a different direction and close the mission). for these last 20 years I have served as the only full-time employee and for around half of this time, I have been the ONLY employee.Developed a residential "recovery" program at both locations, that deal with folks with "life-controlling" issues (drug addiction, alcoholism, etc).God has given me so many opportunities to do so many different things through out my life - I have been able to garner a ton of experience is a vast array of areas.
