Writer, painter (oil on canvas), poet, songwriter, exotic car enthusiast (mainly British automobiles from the 1950s and 60s). Also rode motorcycle from youth into the 1990s, and once rode across the United States and Canada on two extended trips, one of which lasted well into winter.My life experience above directly supports the aesthetics of printing and design, my profession. Appreciating the curves of a D-Type Jaguar at an early age contributed to my ability to set type on a page. Painting in oils gives me an ability to see color in a way that I would not otherwise have. Reading PG Wodehouse, studying Shakespeare, and listening to Bob Dylan extensively over the years has given me an appreciation of our language that I would not have gained through any other means.Specialties: Working with people to interpret their printing needs, I can often put their thoughts into words in ways that they cannot. I manage a lot of print jobs, either printing the work myself in-house, or using JustColorPrinting.com and various other vendors to complete jobs that I've designed. We spun off Robertson Publishing a few years ago, and that company is partnered with Apple, Amazon, Ingram Books, and others, with authors all over the world. I do a fair amount of business coaching as well.
