Project Manager • Responsible for managing projects from job award through drafting and engineering, into production, through construction services and close out.• Attend project planning, current status, and follow-up meetings with internal and external parties.• Knowledgeable of all current costs of materials, labor and services.• Work closely with Marketing, Purchasing, Production, Drafting, Engineering, Erection and Accounting departments.• Review all construction documents, contracts and change orders.• Monitor submittal drawing schedules and ensure they are submitted in advance of production dates. • Visit jobsite to ensure quality and listen to concerns and ideas for improvement for the current project, as well as future projects.• Direct contact with all principal customers by visitation or telephone conversation.• Schedule all phases of new projects in coordination with all other project managers and company departments.• Understanding of all trades required in a building project and their effect on precast components.• Meet with architects, engineers, contractors and owners at project progress meetings and relay information to our Drafting, Engineering and Construction Services departments.• Monitor and analyze each phase of the job cost system.• Monitor production clip board and schedules and communicate possible delays that may impact schedule.• Resolve punch list issues.Production Supervisor• Supervised up to 150 plant workers and foremen.• Scheduled pouring sequence of jobs. • Responsible to oversee jobs from pouring through finishing.• Charged out products used in production phase.• Tracked inventory of products used.• Ordered all aggregates and cements needed for production.Drafter• Communicated with architects and owners regarding detailing of buildings.• Read structural and architectural blueprints to complete our shop drawings.• Worked with in-house engineers in designing pieces.
