Executive Manager of daily operations, issues management, media relations, government relations and public policy for Greater Fort Worth Builders Association Executive Committee, Board of Directors and membership. Responsible for implementation of Board of Director initiatives, fiscal budget, fundraising, association operations and management. Oversee staff coordination of all events and activities; including but not limited to large scale public events like the Kaleidoscope of HomesTM. Association liaison to the media, elected officials, policy makers, internal and external stakeholders and the public. Responsible for writing persuasive position papers and policy articles, press releases, opinion editorials, event speeches and talking points. Also responsible for prepping senior leadership for public appearances. Work closely with local, state and federal partners on legislative affairs and advancing the legislative agenda of the association at the local, state and federal levels. Provide direct testimony at local council, planning and zoning, state and federal hearings on matters relating to the legislative priorities of the association. Manage annual budget and professional staff of three and countless committee volunteers. Concurrently oversee the operations of the Hammer and Nails Political Action Committee and timely reporting.
