Responsible for the accurate processing, timely access of the information in and throughout all computing systems including the monitoring of CIS computers and /or networks and the running of system backups, utilities and programs. Perform system IPLs or Re-boots as required. Maintain operation's procedures documentation on DCS Portal. Monitor mainframe consoles for system performance, on-line availability, job abends, network problems, and hardware errors, maintain and trouble shoot problems as part of daily operation of mainframes. Support new customer transitions both locally and at the customer's site during the transition period. Support Disaster Recovery operations at TX Data Centers and the remote DRP site as needed.

Operations is also responsible for performing helpdesk duties including answering the helpdesk line and operating the helpdesk e-mail along with other helpdesk duties, like managing tickets. Perform system IPLs or Re-boots as required. Monitor computer floor access as well as access to the keys for equipment on the floor, and monitor environment stability through alarms. Maintain operation's procedures documentation.
