ZWS currently contracts with the City of Austin to assist businesses in complying with the local Universal Recycling Ordinance through business outreach and education training. When it comes to reducing waste and increasing profits, what we find is businesses have paid lip service for far too long on sustainability. They either don’t know where to begin, have good intentions, but don’t have the political will to put programs and funding into place, or already have programs in place, but won't set expectations and enforcement in place for success.
