I'm extremely privileged to be the Managing Director of Glazing Vision, we have a dedicated work force who deliver time and time again. I took over the position due to the retirement of the previous Managing Director who had driven the company forward. The position of Managing Director came much earlier than I had anticipated, but with the support and energy of a great team I am hopeful it will be a successful chapter in my career.

Glazing Vision manufacture a luxurious range of glass rooflights, fixed, hinged and sliding. I joined Glazing Vision in 1994 as Marketing Manager. At the time Glazing Vision were a small company with a turnover of around £1m. Some of my achievements at Glazing Vision- Developed a sales team from 1 person to approx. 10 people- Grew the turnover consistently even through the recession (£6m+)- Developed the companies marketing activities to en capture new markets and new opportunities- Manage and develop a team to deliver a network of international distributors in Europe and the US

I was responsible for the marketing of the 4 franchises we held Renault, Mazda, Kia and Nissan.

Johnston Engineering is the World's largest manufacturer of road sweepers. I was involved in all aspects of advertising and promotion of the company Worldwide. Sales and distributor support arranging exhibitions and competitor analysis.

My first role after university, I was responsible for reporting analysis on products, performance and competitor activities to the board of Directors.

As part of my sandwich degree I spent a year working in the Czech Republic. I was involved in all branding and marketing activities as well as assisting the European development office. I assisted British businesses looking at entering the Czech market.
