Model Based Systems Engineer for Lockheed Martin Skunk Works.

Continuation of summer internship. Continuing to support both Applied Modular Technologies (AMT) organization as well as Hypersonic Air-Launched Offensive Anti-Surface Warfare (HALO) program.

- Created standardized common Control Actuation System (CAS) Critical Item Development Specification (CIDS) document for all class 1 CAS (>13” diameter) at Raytheon. Created CAS CIDS for Hypersonic Air-Launched Offensive Anti-Surface Warfare (HALO) program.- Supported Applied Modular Technologies (AMT) overhead, an Internal Research and Development (IRAD) group that drives modularity and composability to maximize productivity, via updating documentation and media pertaining to embedded system software, secure processing solutions, guidance electronics, modular power, and control actuation systems. - Utilized DOORS for modular requirement use and documentation.

- Shift lead and X-ray lead working directly with NASA to optimize fragment detection software in foam panels, create and update procedure documentation, conduct calibration experiments, and hold seminars teaching X-ray procedure to sponsors.- Responsibilities: Fragment detection, extraction, and characterization using 2D and 3D imaging along with material characteristic measurements.- The project's goal is to design and fabricate a 56-kg class spacecraft mock-up (“DebriSat”) representative of modern payloads in the low Earth orbit (LEO) environment, conduct a hypervelocity impact test to catastrophically break it up, collect fragments as small as 2 millimeters in size, measure and characterize the fragment properties, and then use the data to improve space situational awareness and satellite breakup models.

- Researched Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation design and methodologies.- Developed approach and conducted a seminar on matrix-based design techniques such as Axiomatic Design, Quality Function Deployment (QFD), and House of Quality (HOQ). Trained Process Automation teams on Matrix Based Design Approach.- Supported DoD wide survey and interviews with DoD leadership officials on their RPA and AI capabilities for the Joint Artificial Intelligence Committee (JAIC).- Created annual bonus calculator for consulting teams given various parameters.- During this internship, I learned the fundamentals of Lean Six Sigma and the Toyota production system.

- Assisted Professor Daniel Dickrell in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering as a teaching assistant for Engineering Mechanics Statics (EGM2511).- Assisted students with homework, studying, and general tips for being a successful engineer.- Communicated with the students efficiently and concise to narrow down and solve problems presented.- Promoted good work habits and problem formatting when working on engineering problems.
