As a technical co-founder and lead user interface/user experience designer and developer, I was responsible for creating a more usable application. That meant reducing friction in the signup process and creating a more intuitive user navigation, as well as driving feature development based on user feedback. I created low-resolution user flows, high-resolution mock-ups and used advanced CSS to create flexible online resumes that could be rendered in any browser or converted via an open-source program to PDF or Microsoft Word formats. I also implemented designs into HTML and CSS, and did basic python programming to create marketing and sign up pages. My designs drove user adoption throughout universities, and increased the number of signups on Jobspice.I primarily used Photoshop for this design project, and Text Mate to edit HTML, CSS, and Python.
