-Responsible for database and OS support for multiple RDS and EC2 Oracle databases that support data warehouse initiatives, OBIEE and Informatica. Support includes security, monitoring, performance tuning, backup and recovery, upgrades and patching and maintaining our OEM environment as well. -Responsible for database support for multiple RDS and EC2 Postgres database clusters that support offloading read-only support of the above Oracle instances. This includes software installation, setup, configuration, security, performance tuning, replication, backup and recovery, upgrades and patching.-Responsible for project work that includes building data feeds for Databricks reports, building AWS DMS processes to load data across environments.

-Responsible for the end to end support for the Oracle Enterprise Manager monitoring application. This environment consisted of approximately 300 agents across AIX and Exadata boxes that monitored approximately 5500 targets including Exadata, Oracle Virtual Machines, ZDLRA, Goldengate targets as well as the standard targets such as databases, ASM, listeners, hosts, etc.. Tasks included SME for OEM, patching and upgrading the OMS and agents, designing and implementing a High Availability strategy, security, performance tuning, troubleshooting, training sessions, developed instructional videos, developing BI reports and incorporating new features. OEM support for 300+ end users. -A member of the Tier 2 on-call DBA rotation responsible for Oracle issue escalations on approximately 900 production and non production systems that ranged from versions 10g to 12c.-Planned, coordinated and facilitated an onsite training event in 2018 with Oracle University for the team.-Built a process using OEM and Oracle’s IT Analytics to identify the top 10 resource heavy queries in our infrastructure.-Project lead for our Oracle 19c rollout

-August 2015 transitioned into a Data Architect/ETL developer role responsible for supporting 15 mysql DW and OLTP environments residing and the AWS cloud. Tasks involved full database support for these environments, also responsible for creating the logical and physical database designs for new DW environments. Building ETL processes using both shell scripting and Pentaho Data Integration software.-March2014-July2015 Responsible for 50 + Oracle databases between 5gb up to 800gb OLTP environments. Tasks include backup and recovery, setup and maintenance of the standby(Dbvisit) solutions, performance tuning and troubleshooting, and on call ticket response.-Also responsible for project work including db software installations, upgrades, migrations, and release code reviews and deployments.

A member of an 7 Operations DBA team in the US with 1 member overseas responsible for approximately 1000 Oracle databases, 100 SQL Server instances and 50 Marklogic instances. These databases are between 100mb up to 10TB OLTP and DW environments. Tasks include backup and recovery, setup and maintenance of the standby(Dataguard) solutions, performance tuning and troubleshooting, on call ticket response. -Also responsible for project work including db software installations, upgrades, migrations involving some requirements gathering, but mostly design, development, implementation and maintenance. These projects primarily pertained to Oracle clusters, however there were a few standalone environments as well.

A member of a pool of 20 DBA's across US, India and Argentina responsible for maintaining all RUN related operations, such as backup and recovery, performance tuning, on call ticket response, database maintenance and monitoring, installations and upgrades and security administration, for primarily 300+ Oracle instances and 200+ SQL Server instances across several clients. These databases spanned the size of 1GB up to 11TB OLTP and Datawarehouses. Was responsible for several L3 project initiatives including oracle database migrations from 8i to 10g,setting up dataguard, Oracle RAC Installations, and providing training sessions for junior and mid level dba's.

Production and Development DBA for the Corporate Internal and their external web application databases. Responsible for all database related tasks including installations, patching, tuning, backup and recovery, failover, security, developing pl/sql packages as well as adhoc sql, data migrations, building inbound and outbound ETL data feeds, maintenance and monitoring. Also responsible for the system administration tasks for these database environments which reside on Centos Linux 4 OS.

Database Consultant at General Electric for their Technology Services Group their Build Organization. Responsible for providing recommendations on database service calls. Making new project database placement recommendations and managing the effort of implementing various database project requests that run through this organization. -Initiated a full lifecycle development effort of an organizational database repository. -Provides training and assistance with any technical questions that the Build Project Managers may have.

Responsibilities include database maintenance and monitoring, backup and recovery, performance tuning database and applications, database installs and upgrades, database and 11i application patching, security administration, user account maintenance, PL/SQL code development, data design and modeling in implementing an 11i EPB solution. -Providing troubleshooting assistance for Oracle and UNIX problems on other teams as required. -Providing mentorship and training for the DBA's as necessary. -Assist in the interview screening for potential team candidates.

-Oracle production database administrator for two government systems in the defense industry. Responsibilities include: product installs including server and client, database migrations, creating and rebuilding the database and schemas, building and maintaining the database design model, backup and recovery, performance tuning and database monitoring, security administration, user account maintenance, and job scheduling.-Oracle development database administrator responsible for installations, database builds, data refreshes, and development of database object functionality using procedures, packages, triggers, etc. -Provided technical interview screening for potential Oracle DBA/Developer candidates for other company projects.-Part of a team of DBA's that provide backup support for 50 other Oracle databases for the Defense Information System Agency.

Assignment Description (June 2001-September 2001):-Developed additional modules for a SQL Server 7.0 OLTP system on a Windows 2000 operating system for a client in the pharmaceutical industry. Responsible for the module design, database construction and developing stored procedures to build process functionality and enforce business rules. Assignment Description (contract May 2001-July 2001 (for a total of three weeks)):-Assigned to the client site to provide vacation coverage for the Oracle DBA responsible for an Oracle 8.1.5 Data Warehouse this included troubleshooting issues involving functionality provided by packages & procedures developed for this client system. Assignment Description (contract August 2000-September 2000(approximately two weeks)):-Assigned to the client site to assist the Oracle DBA with various duties on an Oracle 8.0.5 database. Assignment Description (contract September 2000-April 2001):-Successfully developed an Oracle 8.1.7 Data Warehouse on an HP-UX 11.0 operating system and an Oracle 8.1.7 Data Warehouse on a Windows2000 operating system for a client in the manufacturing industry. These warehouses receive data from a Sybase 11.9.2 source system and from Level II machines respectively. Performed as a Data Architect for the analysis of the client systems and the designing of the new system, then as the Database Administrator for the installation, construction, testing and implementation of the Data Warehouses.

-Work in teams in order to detect and solve year 2000 issues in client software. -Remediate COBOL applications after scanning each module for non-compliant dates. -Develop scripts using PERL and C SHELL to detect non-compliant dates.
