Jon currently leads business development and strategic efforts at SET Consulting, a full-service marketing consulting firm he helped establish. In this capacity, Jon oversees all aspects of client marketing, providing leadership and direction for new business initiatives.Prior to this, Jon gained extensive experience in marketing, sales and managing a retail network through varied international and a range of domestic field and department positions with GM Corporation. His most recent position was VP, Saturn Distribution Corporation; he was responsible for all aspects of sales, marketing and customer programs, ultimately accountable for annual revenues of over $2.0 billion. With loyalty proven by demonstrated success, Jon began as area sales manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; he completed a cross-functional assignment in finance, which led to mastery of budget and pricing disciplines. Jon ran the Central America and Caribbean sales, service and parts operation prior to joining GM de Mexico, where he managed a 20 person team and $40 million budget as director of marketing. Jon was then named director of employee and supplier business. He also supported the development of GM’s web-based solutions strategies for Latin America, Africa and the Middle-East. Jon was promoted to regional marketing manager for the Northeast with direct responsibility for the Buick, Pontiac and GMC brands; he managed 7 advertising agency relationships and 45 marketing groups. Following this, Jon moved up to become regional operations manager for all GM divisions in the Northeast.
