Tangila Exploration Limited offers geological consultancy services throughout Africa. Tangila intentionally maintains a small structure and provides tailored and highly specialised solutions generally outside the scope of larger commercial consultancies. Since its registration in late 2010, work has been carried out in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone, Republic of Congo and South Africa for a variety of clients at different stages of development.

Re-establishing and managing the Lubambe Exploration Department and contributing to the conceptual study for the Lubambe Extension, while raising the profile of the project, attracting potential partners, and engaging a broad cross-section of stakeholders. With a tightly constrained budget we executed a challenging deep-drilling (>1,500m depth) resource expansion programme that added 47 Mt @ >4% Cu and a pioneering 2D seismic programme that successfully demonstrated the wider potential of the deposit. This led to its acquisition by Kobold Metals. The Mingomba deposit as it is now known is Kobold Metal's flagship project and one of the largest and highest-grade undeveloped copper deposits in the world.

Handa Copper Corporation (HCC) is a publicly-traded (TSX-V:HEC) minerals industry explorer with exploration assets in the Republic of Congo (RoC). http://www.handacopper.com/Responsibilities included:- Negotiating earn-in agreements between Handa Copper and local Congolese partners.- Managing TSX approval of the transactions and subsequent compliance.- Project promotion: press releases, presentations, and fund raising (Toronto and London).- Establishing and managing the exploration programme in the Republic of Congo.

Sierra Leone

Establishing and managing a greenfield gold exploration project in northern Sierra Leone. Team recruiting/training/managing both local and expat. Execution of extensive stream sediment and soil-sampling, followed by trenching and drill testing of generated targets.

Through Africa

Multi-commodity exploration activities throughout Africa including 2 years at the Simandou iron ore project in Guinea. Project generation activites in South Africa (nickel) Mali (iron), Namibia (nickel), Zambia (uranium), Cameroon (iron) and Madagascar (coal).
