During my 1st season in National League with Harrogate Town, scored 7 goals in 16 starts. Promoted via playoffs at Wembley stadium to reach the EFL for first time in the clubs history.

Top goal scorer with 14 goals and player of the year during the 15/16 season. Top scorer again with 14 league goals during 16/17 season. 13 goals during 17/18 season including cup goals against Championship and Premier League opposition. 10 goals 18/19.

Returned to home town club. Scored 2 goals in 8 Championship starts. During this time went on loan to Oldham and Bradford City FC.

On loan from Huddersfield Town FC. Scored 7 goals in 35 League 1 starts. Scored 5 goals in an impressive FA Cup run which saw goals and victories against Premiership opposition Sunderland AFC and a 4-2 away win at Chelsea FC.

Bought for £200,000 from Ipswich Town FC. Enjoyed 3 seasons scoring 20 goals in 61 league starts in the Championship.

Bought for £600,000 from Sheffield United. Scored 19 in 41 starts in the Championship.

Bought from Sunderland AFC for £600,000. Joined Sheffield United in the Premier League scoring 5 in 14 games.

Bought for £1,800,000 from Blackburn Rovers FC. During my time at Sunderland AFC I also spent time at Derby County FC playing 15 games in their promotion season from the Championship.

Between Feb 2004 and the end of the 03/04 season my 6 goals in 13 Premier League games helped Blackburn regain Premiership status.

Graduated through the youth team and academy into the first team. In my first 54 starts of Professional League football brought 22 goals. My 16 goals between August 2003 and January 2004 helped the team to promotion. This form brought a £1,000,000+ move to Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League.
