Also essential: communicate and work well with others, including liaising with freelancers.While investing and business have been the focus of my recent working life, I have a lifelong interest and involvement in the arts (our windows on the world), including literature, film, theatre, visual arts and music, as well as organizations that serve and foster community. My engagement in the latter has ranged from teaching English as a Second Language to refugees and recent immigrants in Toronto to volunteering to help with office work and special events at Campfire Circle (formerly Camp Ooch & Camp Trillium), which provides programs for children affected by cancer and other serious illness.
