I am a general practice accountant, having trained with the Exeter office of a medium sized firm in 1993; before setting up my own accountancy practice in Devon.Following six years as a sole trader, I joined Milsted Langdon, as principal manager in the firm; before becoming a director of the accountancy firm in 2004 and a partner in 2008.As an accountant I have built a reputation with my clients for providing a dedicated hands-on approach, providing accounting, taxation and finance advice in a language they’ll understand, enabling them to meet their personal and business financial goals.With a wide variety of clients, my accountancy and taxation expertises encompasses all general accounting needs, including:• Advising on accounting and management information systems• Fund raising• Tax planning and mitigation• Preparation of statutory accounts and their interpretation• Business planning for new and existing ventures• Incorporation of businesses• Advising on exit planningAlong with providing accountancy advice to clients, I have also lectured to local professional societies and banks on tax planning opportunities and for businesses.Specialties: Personal tax planning, business decision-making and general accountancy.
