Director of Engineering, Product Management & Technical Service for Hayward Flow Control, a division of Hayward Industries, Inc. Leadership of Engineering and project teams resulting in introduction of over 70 new products through in-house development, or co-development with supplier partners. Sales of products introduced during tenure currently comprise 60% of Flow Control division revenue,- Responsible for bringing innovative products to market and managing product lines for the complete product lifecycle from inception to obsolescence- Currently managing 105 product lines in the following categories: Valves & Actuation, Strainers, Filters, Pumps, Sensors, Instrumentation, and Specialty Fittings- Direct and guide multi-functional development teams through all stages of the new product development process using Hayward's Design for Lean Sigma methodology (Stage-Gate development process)- Responsible for developing and executing product development roadmap in partnership with Sales and Marketing - Develop business justification for product development projects and obtain capital approval- Management of Product Engineering, Product Management and Technical Service departments- Provide leadership for all design engineering, sustaining and applications engineering activities while ensuring high levels of product and process integrity are maintained- Strategic planning and tactical execution as member of Flow Control division leadership team- Manage product liability and intellectual property issues for the Flow Control division in partnership with in-house legal counsel- Responsible for product compliance (i.e. NSF, CSA, ISO, ASTM, ASME/ANSI, etc.) for Flow Control division- Managed Flow Control Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Assurance departments from 2009 and 2011, respectively, until company reorganization in 2020- Markets: Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, Chemical Production & Handling, Oil & Gas, Mining, Zoos & Aquariums, Aquaculture

International experience includes direct interface with suppliers and customers in countries listed under travel experience. International experience with Hayward includes travel to China, Taiwan, South Korea and Italy to define design requirements, monitor quality & performance, and provide engineering expertise for the sourcing of private labeled products. During tenure at Cooper Cameron Valve and Baker Oil Tools, completed multiple trips to Mexico to work with supplier foundries and metal stamping facilities, respectively, to review product design requirements and resolve component quality issues. During tenure at Victaulic, completed seven trips to China over two year period as project manager and technical liaison with several suppliers. Have working knowledge of business practices in China, and can work “on the ground”. Issues resolved during China visits ranged from pricing discussions, to quality issues, to manufacturing advice, to project timeline discussions.International business experiences includes travel to the following countries: Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Cyprus, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, Scotland, South Korea and Taiwan.

Position as Lead Engineer in Product Development group, reporting to Director of Engineering.

Position as Senior Project Engineer in Research & Development group, specializing in Fluid Control Technology. Duties included development and project management functions for projects relating to conceptualization and development of new products for the Fluid Control/Valve industry.

Position as Engineering Product Line Manager for three valve product lines, including low pressure iron, steel and polyethylene lines.

Position as Product Engineer in Surface Wellhead Systems group.

Position as Design Engineer in Primary Cementing group and Chemical Injection group.
