Growing up and working on a farm in rural Iowa, and studying theater for the majority of my life, has ultimately lead me to my passion and career in technical live entertainment and performing arts. Here, I am able to flex my creative muscles, while engineering a set, organizing a crew, and budgeting a show. I feel my success comes from my ability to make a sound decision with not so sound information. Through organized documents and site walks, I am able to come to solutions that often have less cost and time impacts as I understand the fabrication and install processes that will get this job done, not simply the paper trail needed to get the work done.
