Jon was the Technical Lead for the development of a global compliance process within the pharmaceutical industry. As such he performed initial detailed process discovery workshops and architectural and process designs. During this project he was also responsible for the development team and their deliverables. The global process was developed using IBM BPM 8.5 on the cloud and included ties into IBM Navigator and an MSSQL database also residing on IBM's Softlayer (cloud) Infrastructure. Alongside mentoring and managing the development team Jon was actively contributing to the development deliverables and developed work relating to both back end process and front end coaches.

Jon was a BPM consultant for a seed tracking project within the GMO field of the bio-agricultural industry. This was a rescue mission contract, a system was being built by another consulting firm who were missing their deadlines. I was called upon to do whatever it took to help meet the deadline as such my duties were pretty varied but my day to day involved process architecture and optimization, process development, business rules architecture and optimization, business rules development and some other training tasks to try and build a process centric culture within the client organization.

During his time at Princeton Blue Jon worked solely with Teva Pharmaceuticals as a client. Leading the project team onsite and delivering on the Personnel Change Request project. This project was aimed at the consolidation of their “Hire to Retire” HR Process Suite. These processes involved collaboration between several different business units and crossed multiple countries. It also involved integration with several of their core HR Systems. The scope of this implementation has been compared to a full ERP implementation (or at least the parts relevant to HR business functions).

Jon was been a member of the Lombardi BPM team, this team provides support for the corporate processes used within CSC. In this role he works in both a Business Analysis and Technical role, he has also been asked to contribute to the corporate strategies outlined for the use of this technology. He is also performing the duties of SCRUM Master and Process Methodology Expert for a project to develop a new set of processes in the Cordys Business Operations Platform.Jon was technical lead for BlueScope Steel's Business Rules Management System (BRMS). This involves working with ILog Jrules version 7 (historically versions 5.1, 6.1 and 6.6) and Websphere Application Server 6.0; responsibilities involved design, development and maintenance of the Rules and Rule Engine. This has also involved the training of other CSC staff in the use and maintenance of a Jrules based environment, this occurred both in informal "on the job" training, and in a classroom setting where he has developed and run a 3 day training course that would teach the foundations of Business Rules Management and Jrules Development. This course is used within the team as an alternative to training offered by IBM.Aside from his responsibilities shown above he previously provided support for the Oracle Transportation Manager (OTM) installation used by BlueScope Logistics, this has involved the coordination and training of a support team composed of both CSC and BlueScope staff. This position also required strong use of Oracle SQL for data manipulation and reporting.Jon has also been involved in the development of a business case relating to the use of a Business Process Management System (BPMS) with the CSC Employee Onboarding process. And was involved in a proof of concept project which was trying to apply the intalio BPMS to an approval process used by BHP for Documentum change requests.

Jon was part of a team creating a Software Development Methodology (for the Australian Tax Office (ATO) Change Program) that allowed for clear traceability of requirements and Business Tasks for the life of the project, this methodology started at the Enterprise Model level and stepped right down through a Business Process Model to the Technical design of the system.
