Mr. Tarnow is a seasoned Real Estate Banking professional with over 20 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Banking focused primarily on corporate, fund finance and investment banking. His expertise lies in developing and managing relationships with North American public pension funds, private equity, and private real estate operating companies in the Real Estate industry across all asset classes. Throughout his career, Mr. Tarnow has demonstrated strong leadership abilities, exceptional prospecting skills, a willingness to mentor and a deep understanding of corporate finance, fund finance, subscription lending, credit, treasury, interest rate derivatives and foreign exchange. Mr. Tarnow is known for his ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks making him an effective communicator and leader with clients and colleagues alike. The combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution has consistently translated into tangible results, with measurable improvements in property performance, fund level performance, asset values, and profitability. Jon successfully completed a recognized bank credit training program, graduated from Pepperdine University with a Masters in Finance as well as completed the Advanced Management Development Program in Real Estate from Harvard University allowing him to currently serve on Harvard’s Alumni Real Estate Board.
