I am currently the Director of Strategy and Policy with Coexistence Queensland, formally known as the GasFields Commission Queensland. In this role I operate in a complex and contested space, often navigating divergent stakeholder interests with the purpose to achieve change programs and policy reforms. Success in this role relies on strong collaboration, consultation and negotiation outcomes.As a high a performing senior public servant I believe it’s a privilege to positively influence the lives of Queenslanders. With my blend of private and public sector experience in a career spanning 25 years, for the past 14 years, I have applied my skills within Queensland’s resources industry. As a seasoned industry leader with a collaborative style, I am experienced in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and I thrive in an environment that challenges the norms. As a degree qualified mining engineer with post degree qualifications in business, I have broad experiences in operational and commercial roles within private industry including the resources, manufacturing and transport sectors. I have led teams and projects focussed on outcomes in stakeholder engagement, construction project management, business improvement, asset management and customer service. I am also a passionate and experienced people leader. I believe that continual care and investment in people and culture underpins high-performance outcomes.
