IT Technology Strategy & Governance- Member of the Architecture Strategy Board and contributor to Centrica’s IT principles and technology strategy.- Identification, evaluation and promotion of new technologies; liaison with strategic partners on co-innovation initiatives; procurement exercises.- Creation and maintenance of current and target Enterprise Architecture collateral and roadmaps in the architecture repository.- Member of the team defining the Enterprise Architecture framework & metamodel based on the TOGAF 9 standard.- Analysis of annual change plan submissions and consequent re-shaping into coherent programmes of work.Enterprise Information Management Strategy & Governance- Creation of Centrica’s EIM capability and service model.- Definition and communication of the EIM Strategy; coordination of distributed teams across the globe; engendering stakeholder buy-in and sponsorship of change plan items.- Definition and ownership of principles, policies, patterns and design collateral in the Information domain of the Centrica architecture framework.- Maintenance of the Centrica conceptual and logical data models and other Information Architecture artefacts in the architecture repository.- Strategy & Architecture lead for GDPR, including requirements definition, design of conceptual architecture, stakeholder engagement, member of GDPR steering committee.Project-level Delivery & Governance- Provision of early-stage triage services (to business and IT stakeholders) for specific ideas, initiatives and projects.- Creation and delivery of conceptual architecture collateral for change projects.- Design authority and member of various governance boards across the change delivery model, including: project steering committees, the Architecture Review Board, the Technical Design Authority for Business Intelligence projects; chair of the Information Domain Architecture Review Board.

- Creation of a highly flexible, agile implementation team including developers and analysts. Engagement with end users and stakeholders to create a process-centric business, minimise resistance to change and encourage ownership of the change plan.- Delivery of a tender management solution to reduce time to price, facilitation of contract management processes, and creation & maintenance of master data, resulting in a doubling of the throughput of customer quotations. - Requirement gathering, architecture solution design, project management and definition of the data strategy for the Industrial & Commercial (I&C) business segment.- Creation and delivery of the I&C migration file for a large SAP CRM/ERP implementation. - Introduction of data quality processes, controls and scorecards, resulting in a step change in registration and contract renewal rates.
