Delivery of full range of metocean requirements for development, installation and operation of offshore wind projects. Contract management for high risk measurement campaigns, data analysis, interface with T&I, O&M, Project Management and technical disciplines to optimise critical metocean inputs to bids and build-up of CAPEX and OPEX budget estimates. Supporting data-driven decision making to ensure safe, on-time, optimal projects where metocean is a significant contributor.

I am a Senior Metocean Engineer in a cross-discipline team, providing a proactive input to a wide range of business needs supporting civil, structural, aviation, safety, sub-sea and wind energy engineers:• support for critical offshore operations, under pressure of safety, time and budget;• contract management of Safety Critical Systems;• data analysis, ranging from operational statistics to independent and joint extremes and response-based analysis;• project engineering roles across all stage gates of capital projects in greenfield and brownfield developments;• technical report writing and assurance;• coaching and mentoring, and moderator for Shell Advanced Metocean Course module on data acquisition.I am Subject Matter Expert for oceanographic measurements, and Metocean Technical Authority. Strong collaboration skills have been acknowledged with special recognition in this area on three occasions.

My role included management and development of a team of oceanographic staff, where I was recognised as a strong leader. High level of responsibility for the safety, quality and financial aspects of oceanographic measurement programmes worldwide. I carried out oceanographic measurements in a wide range of environments, from the Falklands to the Arctic and Gulf of Mexico to the Far East.I was also responsible for project management of long-term, high value contracts and Tender Coordinator for Fugro GEOS' activities in EMEA.
