I am heavily focused on CNC manufacturing of machined parts, design for manufacturability improvements, new product process development, process improvements, root cause analysis, fixture & tooling design. I've worked with engineers, doctors, physicists and entrepreneurs to develop innovative products from technical drawings, pictures, napkin sketches, or site visits. I design fixtures/tooling to facilitate more parts per cycle, increased rigidity, less changeover, better repeatability and ease of use by operators.I am a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and have saved thousands of dollars in consumable tooling and hundreds of processing hours across many products through process improvement projects. I have experience developing QMS for compliance and familiar working in ISO9001, ISO13485, AS9100, ITAR work environments.When I am not designing or manufacturing parts I am working on my farm in Mount Dora, Florida; fixing fences, feeding animals & driving tractors. I have an extreme passion for the outdoors, nature & agriculture and love the idea combining automation to increase yields or reduce manpower inputs. In college, I bought, repaired and sold motorcycles for extra cash and I now purchase government equipment at auctions and repair them for projects on my farm. I have a lifetime of experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining machines and equipment. In January 2020, I founded Waldmann Enterprises LLC, an engineering service and manufacturing company offering 3D modeling, DFM consulting, CNC training & consulting, Prototyping, mechanical & artistic design and manufacturing utilizing CNC mills, router, laser and 3D printing.I am always learning and enjoy a challenge.
