Jon Warner is the Principal Consulting Manager for CGConsulting, LLC. This organization was formed to assist Tribal Operations, Tribal Governments, and/or Tribal Vendors in various arenas in Indian Country. Mavid won MBE Contractor of the Year 2013 in Wisconsin. He has held several positions within the Ho-Chunk Nation from 2005 to present. Jon has been the Executive Hotel Manager at the Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells facility as well as the Business Development Manager from 2006-2010 and now from 2013 to 2015 in the Ho-Chunk Nation Department of Business, and now at Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison. Jon has Board experience with the First Nations Community Financial a Ho-Chunk Nation owned CDFI and Treasurer for the Baraboo Soccer Club. Jon has over 30 years of construction experience and was the project lead on many of the Ho-Chunk Nation's development projects from 2005-present including the HCC Off Track Betting facility, DeJope Gaming renovation, Ho-Chunk North Ancillary Casino, Ho-Chunk Hotel and Convention Center, and the Ho-Chunk Gaming RV Park. Jon has assisted with analyzing, presenting, and implementing renewable projects, gaming and non-gaming developments for the Ho-Chunk Nation. Jon was also a member of the Smart Growth Planning Committee for the Town of Delton, WI from 2008-2009. He was an active member of the Highway 12 Airport Overlay Task Force with the Town of Delton and the Ho-Chunk Nation. He attended Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, KS for Tribal Management, received his B.A. in Tribal Policies and Administration from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO, and his Masters in Tribal Administration and Governance from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.Specialties: Tribal Government relations, operations management, and tribal enterprise development.
