In addition, with Nissan I have built up my skills to become a Full Stack Web developer and have created a very extensive intranet site of which I am responsible for the maintenance and further creation of additional dashboards. Argus publishes a full range of business intelligence reports, market assessments and special studies regarding all aspects of energy, transport and emissions markets. My role was to provide data reporting interfaces for users to create daily and weekly industry reports. The interfaces are predominately created using Microsoft Access and Excel with VBA. I am also required to analyse current data to establish the accurateness of the values stored within the Oracle database

During my time at Como Holdings (Armani, DKNY and Luella) I built several user interfaces. For example Purchase Order system using MS Access and VBA, Excel to Oracle data load using vb.net & PL/SQL, Application Monitor which traces ETL procedures and Oracle database diagnostics. I have also had the responsibility of creating a multitude of Business Objects reports from pre-existing Excel reports, of which I had previously created. I am currently learning ASP.net for the purpose of building an intranet site.

Employed within the royalties department my main responsibility was to increase I.T. efficiency. I created many VBA enhanced Excel spreadsheets and MS Access databases that also had connectivity to Oracle. I also built a Royalties intranet that was used by all territories worldwide. The intranet had a great amount of querying tools into the Oracle database therefore relieving the necessity to contact Royalties staff for answers to information required. Several scheduled PL/SQL scripts had to be created to ensure the reports/intranet ran as efficiently as possible. I also compiled two levels of Excel training courses and would hold ½ day training course as and when required.

I was asked to join the company after completing a course with them. I then went on to be promoted as the centre manager, after which I assisted in the Start Up of a new centre in North West London. As a trainer I trained private students on a one to one basis. I instructed corporate students in a classroom environment of a maximum of 12 students. Courses instructed were the Microsoft Office suite, Sage and general secretarial courses. As a manager I was responsible for staffing the centre, advertising, budgets, creating reports for the directors and all the day to day aspects of running a business.
