I started and ran two wireless ISP companies. Wasatch Wireless, which was solely in Utah County operated for about 7 months. After this period of time I broke off and started The Blue Zone (Broadband Central). I ran all daily Network and System Engineering and Operational tasks. I also engineered and tested all Linux distribution for all wireless propagation. This consisted of Wireless Cell distribution for Internet access. Equipment was all built and created from Linux distributions that were modified with captive portal login and user management.All bandwidth delivered was through wire-line technology.I managed the day to day operations for business management. I managed day to day operations for Network Operations, automation scripting and infrastructure monitoring.I managed day to day operations for field technicians and installation.8 months into the second business venture I was offered to have my 1/3 purchased out. I took the offer to pursue other opportunities. This was a fabulous experience of which I learned a lot and plan to venture with my own business again when the time is right.
