I joined the carpenters union in 2006 doing interior systems for allied in Davenport then moved on to prime construction of Davenport where I finish my apprenticeship. After finishing my apprenticeship I worked my way up to foreman where I ran jobs nearing 2.5 million and crew sizes from 5 to 25 guys. I’m knowledgeable in exterior/interior metal framing, drywall, acoustic ceilings, casework, doors and hardware, operable walls and various other carpentry skills. I’ve recently took on an estimator/project manager to use my knowledge in an office atmosphere and to learn the other side of the spectrum outside of field work. I’m a very organized self driven person who likes new challenges which fits well with my new position. So my near 16 years in the trades has taught me a lot but there is still plenty to learn.
