Private tutor for medical human anatomy. I taught medical students and physician assistant students gross anatomy and prepared them for didactic tests.

Between first and second years of medical school I worked in Mario Capecchi's research lab at the University of Utah under the supervision of Dr. Kevin Jones, M.D.I was a speciman technician. I retrieved, embedded and cut paraffin and frozen samples of tumors from mice. I also mounted the samples on slides and did H&E staining.

I am studying the anti-oxidant capacities of radishes. I also grow cancer cells for experimentation and have learned various assays and techniques. Currently submitting an abstract to the American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting.

I taught human anatomy from human cadavers to about 70 college students at BYU. Each week, I made a quiz, and taught them approximately 100 new anatomical terms related to an organ system. It was one of the best experiences for me and I was always energized by helping my fellow students learn. In addition, several hours a week were dedicated to teaching to any of the 800 other students who were taking the class during the "Open Lab" periods. I was able to dissect: the palm, the lateral surface of a temporal bone, a cochlea and semicircular canals, in situ malleus, and incus bones, much skinning, and general cleaning of muscles and other structures.
