I have well over 40 years experience in various disciplines where air if used to transport materials, experience in pneumatic conveying systems, central vacuum cleaning / bulk removal systems, dusts extraction systems and special systems requiring airflow/vacuum levels somewhere between dust extraction and vacuum cleaning systems. I worked for a number of companies during my career STB Engineering, SAP Limited, Sturtevant Engineering Co Limited, Dust Extraction (International) Limited and Quirepace Limited who own the BVC brand.I mostly specialised in central vacuum cleaning/bulk removal systems for the majority of my career having designed and installed systems from fossil fuel/biomass power stations through to pharmaceutical production where safe change technology is required.Although I have recently retired, if you (be you an end user or a third party quoting for a central vacuum cleaning system) have a requirement for a central vacuum cleaning/bulk removal system I can advise and possibly provide design information on being provided all necessary information to enable me to do this work, obviously some recompense will be required which can be discussed prior to work being carried out, this recompense would need to be paid if you are successful in securing an order or not if you are a third party.

Retired after 45 years in the business from pneumatic conveying, dust control and ultimately making a career designing centralised vacuum cleaning / bulk removal systems serving the whole spectrum of industry from biomass power stations to pharmaceutical production facilities.
I undertake the design, costing, tendering through to order placement of industrial central vacuum cleaning (CVC) / bulk removal systems and other applications employing pneumatic conveying technology. I have designed systems handling biomass, animal feed, pharmaceuticals, these have been sized for one operator to multi-operator capacities, employing simplistic filtration and extracted material dispensing to more complicated filtration employing safe change technology dispensing materials into a lean phase pneumatic conveying system also designed by myself collecting materials from a number of CVC filters and dust extraction filters centralising the waste to a single point for bagging off using safe change/continuous liner technology.

I was approached by the company to join them and set up a central vacuum cleaning / bulk removal division to enhance their own dust and fume extraction operation. We undertook many major and complicated projects for pharmaceutical production facilities, food processing companies and for the nuclear industry where the science of vacuum conveying was employed extracting materials from a scabbling machine conveying it to filter separator with HEPA after filters, dispensing into custom made containers provided with plastic liners, containers were weighed, vibrated to flatten product filling peak additional product added, when full liner was vacuumed to remove excess air heat sealed and via a glove box filling flange blanked off with bolted on cover.
