This comprises three key elements of Quality Assurance, Training and Health and SafetyThe prime strategic focus is to provide support through effective oversight of the Cargo Safety and Quality Management systems, operational risks and ensuring regulatory and Health and Safety requirements are met for the cargo business. We run a team of Standards Specialists to ensure that our Cargo Operations meet State and Company rules and policies. This also includes third-party Cargo service providers globally. For our New Zealand Operations, we also run a team of Cargo Trainers that deliver training for all disciplines of cargo operations. This includes the development and maintenance of training material such as Standard Operating Procedures, Computer Based Training (CBT) Learning Guide Assessments (LGA's), On Job Training (OJT) and Machinery Modules for rolling and static plant equipment. The provision of these support the Cargo Operations, Cargo Sales and Commercial departments to meet Company and regulatory standards and commercial requirements across the global Air NZ Cargo Network.
