Jon has lived and breathed civil infrastructure, having over thirty years of experience in cost planning and estimating roles, and more than fifty in the construction industry.He has been involved in projects covering road and rail transport, natural resources, process plants, civil and military installations, airports and marine work.He has vast experience in the rail and road infrastructure in brownfield urban environments, which has taken him across the world, and his reputation has seen his involvement in the Taiwan Shinkansen, Newcastle Light Rail, Gold Coast Light Rail and Canberra Light Rail projects.His skills base and passion for cost planning, estimating and systems has led him to develop a number of bespoke estimating solutions for the rail and road industry.While he maintains sensitivity towards others, founded in the cultural demands during his overseas postings, his straight talking approach has seen his involvement in risk management, scheduling and constructability advisor for projects in the UK, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Qatar and UAE.
