Jon Adam Ross is a theater artist and leader with over 25 years of experience in creating art with communities around the country. He is the executive director and co-founding artist of Inheritance Theater Project, a national arts non-profit that works with intersectional, intergenerational, and interfaith communities to build relationships across divides through collaborative theater projects inspired by shared cultural touchstones.With Inheritance Theater Project, Jon has co-created original plays in 16 cities, engaging over 11,000 people in a participatory playmaking process that invites neighbors to examine their communities in the spirit of both reckoning and celebration. He has also served as an artist in residence and a fellow at various religious and educational institutions, where he has facilitated dialogue and learning through theater. Jon holds a BFA in Acting from NYU/Tisch and has performed in over 90 cities around the globe as an actor, playwright, and teaching artist. Jon's passion is to use theater as a tool for social change, connection, and empowerment.
