As a student and a part time worker, I have learned many skills and habits to achieve a good work life balance. Diving myself into work and school motivates me and brings out my hardest work. My current and previous positions held were both in kitchen staff and it has brought me pure joy being able to work in a team with other hardworking people and putting my hands and communication skills to use. I think working in a kitchen has a lot of transferable skills such as organization, time management, communication and team building that will be useful in all work settings.I was lucky to grow up in a household that taught me to be diverse and try new things and I think that it has set me up to be a great asset as a worker. I was a boy scout since the first grade, played all types of sports and learned to manage our home ranch. Having the skill to be comfortable with new people or in new situations is one of the most important in today’s world and adding that to my hard work ethic, I believe I can show my value in many areas.
