I serve as a resident editorial guide within ICR, a mid-sized advisory firm that specializes in helping companies navigate the public markets. I work closely with our finance, real estate and special situations teams and the clients they serve to strategize around the news and effectively leverage their stories.

I led Bloomberg Television's news-gathering operation in the US, synthesizing and prioritizing news generated inside and outside of Bloomberg's vast multi-media universe. I oversaw matters both editorial and logistical, within the newsroom and out in the field.Daily responsibilities include:* Running & supervising USTV assignment desk including two assignment editors and four field producers (2 in NY, 1 in DC, 1 in Boston) covering 13 hours of live programming.* Leading editorial meetings throughout the day and week, providing guidance on the major stories our network should be covering* Liaising with Bloomberg's print division of 2,300 journalists in 150 news bureaus across 73 countries as well as our web, magazine and other media platforms* Organizing future news event planning, working closely with counterparts in Asia and Europe.

I have successfully executed and performed in multiple production roles at Bloomberg Television over the years. Prior to my current position, I served as Senior Content Producer, directing our live news editing operation. I spearheaded a workflow and efficiency program to distribute targeted content through multiple Bloomberg platforms to better serve our customers and viewers. Here's what else I have accomplished at Bloomberg TV:* MONEY CLIP: Co-created, launched and led production of a 1-hour video-only newscast featuring the best of Bloomberg’s global business video content. We developed an on-air style and an operational model unique to Bloomberg TV: single-anchor, script and video-intensive, producers did their own editing.* STREET SMART: Led production of the close of U.S. stock market trading. Created and developed "The Closer"​ guest-host position. (past Closers have included Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman, HSN CEO Mindy Grossman, Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Tom Friedman and Wall Street's top strategists and investors) Successfully launched and produced segments including Three vs. Trish, Chart Attack, The Next Big Trade. * BLOOMBERG NEWS, IN FOCUS & FINAL WORD: Produced daily business newscasts, developed program and interview themes, supervised segment production, created and edited content, line-produced live broadcasts

During my first two years at NECN, I rose from production assistant to producer of general news programs. I was then promoted to lead producer of "New England Business Day", a nightly business program covering regional, national and global business and economic news. We emphasized the regional significance of national business stories, and national significance of regional events. I held the post for 4 years, introducing new content with the addition of weekly segments and monthly series on topics such as cars, jobs, energy and consumer fraud.

Directed and coordinated television and web coverage of Executive Branch events. Filmed news conferences, speeches and congressional testimony of Cabinet officials.

Provided editorial and production support to nationally broadcast nightly news program. Responsibilities included conducting research for anchors and reporters; logging live news events such as press conferences and Congressional hearings; culling wire copy for editors; assistance on field shoots; administrative tasks.
