Environmental Compliance Manager of the Lane Plant located in Carlisle, PA. Ensuring all environmental aspects here at our powder coating facility are within federal, state and local regulations.

Assist EHS Manager in administering EHS programsAssist in developing training and ergonomic programsDeliver EHS training and new hire orientations for one or more of the following: lock out / tag out (LOTO), fire prevention, hazard communications, confined space entry, hearing conservation, EHS policies and procedures, or other training programsAssist in safety incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actionConduct inspections and audits, identify opportunities to improve, and make recommendations to improve or eliminate unsafe conditions or practicesTrack and maintain appropriate documentation, and complete reportsCollaborate with the local Human Resources Manager in the Worker’s Compensation and Early Return to Work ProgramCoordinate all hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage, handling, and disposalEnsure procurement of proper EHS supplies including PPECommunicate directly with regulatory agenciesStrong written communication skills demonstrating the ability to prepare outlines, reports, letters, and any other supplemental materials in a clear and concise manner. Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to communicate intricate job-related processesExperience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to modify basic reports, documents, and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and SharePoint Strong attention to detail and accuracyOrganizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlinesAbility to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects, and prioritiesPrior experience in handling compliance issues, OSHA/EPA programs, regulatory reviews, permitpreparation, reporting, and record keepingExperience in evaluating/interpreting OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulationsExperience with Federal, State, and local Worker’s Compensation law and prior experience establishing proactive Ergonomics Program
